Direct veneers with composite

These veneers are created by adding different layers of dental composites over the teeth. It is a procedure that ends in one session, therefore there is no need for laboratory stages. They provide good aesthetics, but compared to ceramic veneers, they lose a bit of their initial shine over the years. One of their advantages, apart from cost and simplicity, is that they are repairable in case of minor damage.

Feldspathic facets

They are the best from an aesthetic point of view, but also the most expensive since their production process is completely artisanal and complex. Their modeling is done manually by placing the ceramic layer by layer on the tooth in the plaster model. They ensure maximum aesthetics and naturalness. They are less strong than emax veneers and have lower tooth compliance than them.

Emax veneers

Emax veneers are made of pressed ceramic (Emax press Ivoclar). They have an excellent aesthetic, perhaps although not the same as the feldspathic ones. However, the advantages are not few, above all in terms of longevity and resistance. Feldspathic veneers lose some of their naturalness after a few years and are shorter-lived than Emax veneers. Meanwhile, Emax veneers have a more precise kiss with the tooth but require the preparation of more dental structure to realize. Both offer the smile you’ve been dreaming of! Leave it to our professionals to decide which alternative is best for you.
